Our Fun Airport Adventure in Ho Chi Minh City: Making Cute Tote Bags!

Hey everyone! Guess what happened to us in Ho Chi Minh City? We're a couple from Malaysia, and we were super excited to fly to Hoi An after spending two awesome days exploring this city. We saw cool buildings and ate yummy food!

But then, our flight got delayed. For four whole hours! We were a little bummed, but then we remembered hearing about a cool place near the airport called DoitUnique. They do something called "tufting," and you can make your own things with soft yarn.

Let's Get Creative!

DoitUnique is super close to Tan Son Nhat Airport, so we took a quick ride there. When we walked in, it was so colorful and fun! There was yarn everywhere, and people were using these special machines to make fluffy designs. The people who worked there were so nice and happy. They showed us everything we needed to know. They were like our fun guides!

We decided to make matching tote bags. We thought it would be a great memory of our trip. It took us a while to pick the colors we liked best. There were so many! We finally chose some bright colors that made us smile.

Making Friends and Fluffy Bags

Making the tote bags was easier than we thought! We used a special "tufting gun" to push the yarn through the fabric. It was a little bit noisy, but so much fun to watch our designs take shape. We helped each other and laughed a lot.

We also met some other people at the workshop. There was a friendly local girl and a guy from another country who was traveling. We all chatted and showed each other our work. Our Special Souvenirs

Time went by so fast! Before we knew it, our four hours were almost over. We looked at our finished tote bags, and we were so proud! They weren't perfect, but we made them with our own hands. They are super cute and will remind us of our adventure in Ho Chi Minh City every time we use them.
